New Year, New Adventures

Hello, 2026!

As the last crumbs of Christmas cake vanish and the twinkling lights are packed away for another year, we’re starting 2026 with full hearts, full notebooks, and (as usual) a few rogue bits of glitter still clinging to the floorboards.

Here at Daisy Chain Gifts, we’re embracing that “new year, fresh start” feeling with open arms — and a few exciting announcements.

A Guilded Beginning

We're thrilled to share that Daisy Chain Gifts has been officially welcomed onto the Professional Crafters Guild "behind the scenes" team — we've been part of this wonderfully supportive, creative network of fellow makers for several years but now we are stepping up, and sharpening our pencils to help the amazing founder, Anna, grow and develop the Guild community. This group of magical minds is more than just a badge on our sidebar (though yes, we do love a good badge) — it's a vibrant community of people who get it: the long market days, the joy of a perfectly poured soap batch, and the sheer delight of wrapping up your creations in just the right bit of twine.

The Guild website is currently undergoing a beautiful revamp, and we’re lucky enough to be part of the project team bringing it to life. It’s an inspiring behind-the-scenes moment and a great reminder of how collaboration can spark fresh creativity.

New Paws on the Block

Of course, no new year update would be complete without a cat check-in. 2025 ended with three beautiful new additions to the Daisy Chain Gifts Feline Supervisory Committee:

  Holly and Evie, two sweet and curious souls who came to us through rescue and settled in like they’d always been part of the story.

• Horizon, a senior lady who has faced more than her fair share of upheaval but is now safe, warm, and decompressing gently in our office sanctuary.

Each of them has a tale to tell — and trust us, Tilly has Opinions™ about all of them. For regular updates, foster antics, dramatic diary entries, and the occasional tribunal announcement, be sure to follow The Tilly Files on Facebook or Instagram. (Warning: Side-eye and sarcasm levels are high.)
