Here in Virginia, Thanksgiving is a time for gathering, sharing meals, and giving thanks. It’s also a time to remember those who are no longer with us, carrying forward their stories and memories in the way we celebrate. At Daisy Chain Gifts, we’re reminded to make space for gratitude in all its forms—whether it’s cherishing time with family, connecting with friends, or taking a few quiet moments for yourself.

The holidays can be busy and sometimes overwhelming, which is why we encourage you to carve out moments of self-care. A Taste of England: Bonfire Night

For Gillian, our founder, November also means celebrating Bonfire Night—a long-held UK tradition remembering Guy Fawkes. Though far from England, the celebration continues with a roaring bonfire, homemade chili, cinder toffee, and pet-friendly fireworks like sparklers. It’s a cozy and nostalgic reminder that traditions connect us across miles and generations.

Holiday Markets & New Fragrances

November also marks the start of a very exciting season for Daisy Chain Gifts. We’ll be attending more local craft fairs and preparing for Christmas markets (see our Events Page for details). Along with our favorites, we’re introducing new holiday fragrances, including:
